WORKSHOP POETS TAKE OVER GAINVILLE CAFE

The Magic Circle series returns to GainVille Café Friday, June 29. RED WHEELBARROW WORKSHOP POETS will be featured from the long-running (11 years!) weekly workshop led by Jim Klein. Our musical guest will be Rutherford singer-songwriter JOHN DULL, returning for an encore performance, hopefully with special guest MARTIN DULL. Also featuring the Red Wheelbarrow Poets’ Bring-Your-A-Game open mic. A $9 cover includes coffee/tea, dessert. 7 PM.

The Magic Circle returns to GainVille Café on Friday, Dec.1. Our poetry feature this month will be SUSANNA LEE, a Red Wheelbarrow Poet Workshop member who has a book of poems called Sunrise Mountain and who has just been published in The Red Wheelbarrow 10 and the Poem of the Week 2. Musical guest features the music of bass maestro JACO PASTORIUS in our annual birthday salute. The Red Wheelbarrow Poets’ Bring-Your-A-Game open mic features poets and musicians rocking the mic.

GV – It’s Here! Red Wheelbarrow 10 Launching

The Red Wheelbarrow 10, with the work of more than 50 writers, is launching at GainVille Café on Friday, Sept. 29! We will have an open reading from poets in the anthology, and since it is our 10th anniversary issue, you do not want to miss it! We’ll start things off with musical guest THE ELECTRIC POET GATHERING featuring George Pereny.
