ZORIDA MOHAMMED will be the featured poet and TEDDY JUDGE the musical guest for the Red Wheelbarrow Poets‘ monthly reading at GainVille Cafe, 17 Ames Ave., Rutherford on Friday, May 20 at 7 PM. An open mic with generous reading times will follow. Zorida is an accomplished poet whose insightful work has appeared in more than a dozen journals. One of her lines neatly encapsulates poetic readiness and was used to theme our last anthology: “I was open and at the mercy of the unexpected.” Singer/songwriter Teddy Judge has recorded a batch of new songs since his GainVille appearance last summer. We’ve been making magic at GainVille for the last two years: come and see the unexpected! $5 cover includes coffee/tea and dessert.
